The aim of this
training course is to present the range and the basic features of the intrusion
prevention/UTM product.
Venue,
duration and registration
NETASQ entrusts its Administrator training courses to its
certified partners. Please refer to the list of NETASQ-certified training
centers (NCTC). NETASQ can suggest you training courses in
Villeneuve d’Ascq (France), or in Boulogne Billancourt (France). Our trainers
are willing to move abroad so as to provide you with the training.
The Administrator training course takes place over three
days.
The training starts at 9.30 a.m on the first day. All
registration requests have to be sent to your NETASQ-certified training center
(NCTC) or to NETASQ’s training department (training@netasq.com). The maximum
class size is 8 trainees per session. Training material will be provided for each
trainee.
Pre-requisites and hardware
Good TCP/IP knowledge. Prior training in IP would be a
bonus. Trainees should be equipped with a laptop on which a Windows operating
system has been installed in order to conduct the exercises suggested in the
training course and also VirtualBox in version 3.1.x at least
(http://www.virtualbox.org/).
Certification
At the end of the
training, each trainee will attend an exam. This exam will last 1hr 30mins and
permits to validate the training.
This exam is
composed of two parts:
- A theorical purpose, with a 50-question MCQ,
- A practical purpose,
where you have to implement a network configuration, implement filtering rules,
implement NAT, and so on.
