protection solutions, announced today that it has signed a distribution agreement with Tropos Networks, enabling them to deliver Tropos products and services to the Asian market. Tropos is a worldwide leader in creating best-of-breed IP broadband technologies used for mission-critical communications.  Its products are used as the communications foundation for a wide range of applications including Smart Grid, public safety, intelligent transportation systems (ITS), mobile workforce automation, and many more.  Under this new agreement, Fortress will sell Tropos wireless broadband products through its channel partners located in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
